Meet our of my favorite new designers, Anne Lehman Stolpe, a freelance illustrator, designer, and licensed artist based in New Hampshire. We're loving Anne's whimsical designs and colorful palettes, she's the face behind our popular Ice Cream Scoop design, our newest Kitty Cat print, and one top secret custom print around the corner for Fourth of July! I love all things art and color and I have been drawing since I first picked up a crayon. I received my degree in the fine arts and continued my education to focus on graphic design. After working in the field for many years, I decided to create Sunny Spot Studio so I could utilize all of my skills and get back to...
Are you ready for school to start up again?
I remember when I was little my favorite thing about preparing to return to school was allll the new clothes. I would imagine presenting myself to my all new class feeling confident and smart.
When designing this collection I thought about how my littlest customers will feel walking into school in their cute new threads, and what makes them smile. So we created this fun collection full of (garden) sparkles, butterflies, chirping birds, sweet apples and classic navy to ignite their confident and adventurous spirits.
I hope you love this collection as much as I do, and I'd be honored to see your special moments if you tag us on IG @olliejayofficial.
Miami Based Surface Pattern Designer + Illustrator Isabel Serna of Black Lamb Studio is one of my favorite artists to work with because of her beautiful color choices and fun illustrations! I think her style speaks to both adults and kids alike and just screams FUN!! I wanted to share her story with you all because she is just too cool and I'm so proud to have her work displayed on my brand! OJ: How long have you been designing and how did you first get interested in this field? BLS: I've been designing professionally for 12 years. I graduated college with a degree in industrial design and started working as a luggage designer. A big part of my job was to...
I couldn't be more excited to be working with Kelsey again - this girl is magic! In 2021, Kelsey and I started collaborating on our newest strawberry print (and one more new print coming in July!) My favorite part about working with Kelsey is her attention to detail - the little strawberry flowers were the perfect accent to make this pattern shine! Before we got to this print there were a few we've worked on over the years, but we initially connected in 2019 when I was looking for guest bloggers, and Kelsey had an upcoming birthday party for her daughter so I sent her a dress and she photographed and featured on our budding website, and even...
Meet surface pattern designer + mom, Lauren Borits! Lauren has designed 5 prints for our twirl dresses and rompers now since we opened in 2019, and we wanted to get to know her a little better, so here's our convo and a little peek at our upcoming collab!
